The Beach
Despite all the amazing historic locations on our itinerary, of course the kids were most looking forward to a day at the beach. Aunt Annie and Ashtyn indulged us by taking us to the Jersey shore, about 1 1/2 hours from her home. It was a perfect day: hot, but a bit breezy at times, and very sunny.
Doug played with the kids almost nonstop, and I was busy taking pictures.

Just one day at the beach? I bet it was hard to tear yourself away from that! I love your castle 'fortress'!! Very nice work!
