Okay, we have just completed our fifth snow day, and today another 3-6 inches are predicted. This is the Ozarks, folks. Not known for harsh weather.
But I just want to say that our family has been in pure bliss. It's like Christmas vacation all over again, without an commitments! The kids have been playing games, watching movies, eating popcorn and hot chocolate, and enjoying hanging out with neighborhood kids and other friends who have come to stay awhile. Matthew and Lauren, who stayed much of the week with their grandparents down the street, got permission to hook up their sled to their granddad's tractor lawn mower. Hoards of children spent innumerable hours this week riding behind that tractor! It does well on the Zambinied ice streets!
Meanwhile, with all the kids occupied elsewhere, I've been reading and writing. Joy.
