We did the usual--snow ice cream, lots of play with the neighbors, hot chocolate and winter punch, and board games. It was fab.
Here's our crowd warming up by the fire after some snow play with our neighbor friends. It's Sydney (sorry I cut off your head, Sydney!), Merida, Sophia, Aidan, Harley, and Merideth:
I also took the opportunity to snap some shots for potential use in our Christmas cards. Sophia and Jacob voted that it was too cold to be outside without coats. Meredith and Aidan, however, were beside themselves with glee. Here are a few we decided not to use--but still worth sharing!

I don't know about all that snow, though. It looks very fluffy and festive and all, but ... DANG. It looks cold.
Also, Aidan is getting big. I can't believe those lanky legs stretched out on the fireplace!

Love the Blog. Spent an hour or so reading it all. I especially love Jake's evaluation of fempty. If allowed, I'd like to quote him. I also like Aiden's frosting. I didn't think of a camera at the time when Sydnye did something similar with the butt rash ointment. Are you printing your blog pages? It seems they would be a very good family keepsake. I know we're all about electronic albums these days, paper and space are at a premium, but I still like to browse an album sitting on the couch. I'll come back and visit the Von Feldts again someday soon!
